Description

Created for television by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, WESTWORLD is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin – exploring a world in which every human appetite, not matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged. Exploring what it means to be human through the eyes of the lifelike AI “hosts” in the park, the series investigates the boundaries of an exotic world set at the intersection of the near future and the reimagined past. Meticulously crafted and artfully designed. Westworld offers its guests an unparalleled, immersive world where they have the freedom to become who they’ve always wanted to be – or who they never knew they were. No rules, no laws, no judgment. Live without limits. Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright and more star in this one hour drama series from Bad Robot Production and Kilter Films.

This was a jaw dropping brain draining awesome HBO series! Although they’re also somewhat morons for not giving Evan Rachael Wood equal pay! Cause she is the Lynch Pin Of Westworld! Yippee Ki yay!

Up there with The Wire, Breaking Bad, BCS, BSG, GOT, and The Sopranos. This amazing, and timely show is incredibly complex and requires the viewer's absolute and undivided attention. Silence you phone, put down your PadPod, etc., and watch it on a big screen. Watch, listen; pay attention. There's a lot going on. A lot of subtext that will be missed if you are impatient or easily distracted. Not a show for children, chronophobes, gymnophobes, puritans, nor the nervous. I hope season two is as great. A high mark has been set.

This has been the best show I’ve watched in a long time. The characters are interesting, the plot twists are blindsiding, and the thought provoking aspect is one that surprises you in the moment. I can’t wait until season 2!

Titillating but otherwise so far afield from the source material that you’ve got to wonder why they even had to call it Westworld at all. Certainly has enough Nolanesque idocracy-grade sillyscience to be able to satisfy folks impressed with the likes of Arrival and Interstellar, yet seasoned with enough gratuitous sexuality to lend it wink-wink art cred.
